Ash Wednesday marks the first day of Lent, a period of 40 days leading up to Easter. During Lent, many Christians engage in some form of fasting, repentance, moderation and/or spiritual discipline. The purpose is to focus on Christ, His suffering and sacrifice for us, His life, death, burial and resurrection. To help us prepare, there will be an Ash Wednesday Service on Wednesday, February 14th at 7:00 pm. Child care will be provided for ages up to Kindergarten. All are encouraged to attend.
