To say there are no perfect families is probably the biggest waste of a sentence ever. But when we experience that imperfection in our homes we’re frustrated. When we experience that frustration in our church family the frustration deepens. Some of us run away from the mess, others fight. In the story of Abraham, we see a classic example of a dysfunctional family and father who has to decide whether to run away from the mess or enter the fight for his family.
