Encounter Missions
A Message From Pastor Matt
Blessings, Pastor Matt

We believe our neighborhoods are just as much a mission field as anywhere in the world. God has placed us here with a purpose—to love, serve, and share the hope of the Gospel with those around us. That’s why we actively partner with local organizations to meet real needs and reflect Christ through both our words and our actions.
Do you like to sew and have a heart for missions? Please join our Sewing for Missions group on the third Wednesday of each month at 2:00pm in the church gym. We are currently sewing dresses and tote bags for an orphanage in Uganda, Africa. Locally we make fidget quilts for the UPMC hospitals in Harrisburg.
Separate from people who enjoy sewing, we are in need of supplies. Please consider donating new or lightly used tee shirts in size 2T through teen sizes. Boy's shirts are also needed, sizes 2T - 16 child. The orphanage is also in need of children's underwear sizes 2T - 16 child. Donations can be dropped off at the church office.

It’s a privilege to partner with ministries serving across the country and around the world. We are passionate about sending teams to support their work—and humbled by the opportunity to learn from them and the communities they serve. Through these partnerships, God deepens our faith and expands our vision for His kingdom.
