Welcome to Kidz Konnection! We’re so glad you found us! In Kidz Konnection we have three values that we focus on:

We value creating a safe and fun environment for CHILDREN that fosters a growing relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
We value creating a space where PARENTS feel comfortable leaving their children in our care so they can experience worship and spiritual growth in "Big Church".
We value creating a place where our VOLUNTEERS feel loved, valued, appreciated, supported, empowered, and fulfilled in their calling to serve the families of Encounter Church.

Classes

Nursery

Birth - 18 months

A safe and loving environment where babies feel cared for and experience God's love.

In the nursery you'll find a safe and friendly environment where babies sense God's love through caring volunteers who will play with, rock, cuddle and sing to your baby. We strive to keep our nursery a safe place for babies to develop their gross motor skills. To maintain this safe environment, once your child has accomplished several milestones, we will move them to the Toddler Room.

Some of these milestones include:

Sitting on a chair

Being a steady walker

No longer needs a morning nap or bottle

Toddlers

18 months - 3 Years

Learning through play, music, and hands-on activities that help little ones grow.

In the Toddler Room your child will enjoy activities geared to their stage of development including a simple Bible story, crafts, and games while making friends and enjoying play. With this age group we take into account the attention span of each child. Our schedule is very flexible and children are allowed to participate to their own comfort level. We do offer a snack during two of our services but we keep the 8:00 service snack free.

Preschool

3 Years - Pre-K

Big imagination meets Bible truth in a fun and engaging learning environment.

The Preschool Room is intended to be a safe and inviting place for children to learn and discover! It's where preschoolers learn God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever!

Pre-K

Year Before K

Preparing kids socially, emotionally, and spiritually for their next adventure.

The Pre-K Room is for our friends who are one year out from Kindergarten! Each lesson is designed with activities that help them learn three big ideas: God made me, God loves me & Jesus wants to be my friend forever!

Elementary

Grades K - 4

Building a strong faith foundation through Bible lessons, games, and small group time.

Our school-age children enjoy a time of creative Bible lessons designed just for them! Some activities reinforce a monthly memory verse using games, crafts, music, and prayer. In small groups, children learn how the Bible story relates to their lives. Students in grades 4 & 5 also have the opportunity to participate in several "extra-curricular" outings each year, such as laser tag, hay rides, and pool parties!

SERVICE TIMES
What time are your services?

Your child’s safety is very important to us! Here are some of the steps we take to create a safe and secure environment:

Every adult volunteer is screened through a PA Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and either an FBI Criminal Background Check or a PA Residency Waiver before serving.
Diapers are only changed by adults and only when necessary.
Kidz Konnection is located in a secure hallway of our building. Once services begin, a Kidz Check volunteer must allow access into the area.
After children are checked in and dropped off, only a person with the matching pick-up tag may pick them up from their classroom.
